If you are in the construction industry in the United Kingdom, then you will need to be very familiar with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations. These are important rules for anyone who is looking to build in the U.K. These rules were implemented by the Health and Safety Executive’s Construction Division in order to make sure that there was a higher level of safety that was introduced to the process of construction. In order to assure that projects (especially larger ones) are being completely compliant with these rules and regulations there needs to be a person who is responsible for making sure that everything on the construction site is completely compliant.
While there is someone is supposed to make sure that these regulations are obeyed, the officials in the Health and Safety Executive do expect all people involved in the project to make sure that they know and understand the rules and regulations so that they can work together to make sure that the entire project is compliant. There are five different parts to these regulations, and they are broken down so that they can be easily understood and disseminated to make it even easier to remain completely compliant while working on the project.
