When most people think of working with pipe, they think of plumbers and the plumbing industry. However, those in the construction and engineering industries also work with pipe. They don’t generally install it, though. Most who work with pipe in construction are actually building the various types of piping needed in plumbing and city sewer systems.

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009If you are in the construction industry in the United Kingdom, then you will need to be very familiar with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations. These are important rules for anyone who is looking to build in the U.K. These rules were implemented by the Health and Safety Executive’s Construction Division in order to make sure that there was a higher level of safety that was introduced to the process of construction. In order to assure that projects (especially larger ones) are being completely compliant with these rules and regulations there needs to be a person who is responsible for making sure that everything on the construction site is completely compliant.
